The Quick-Sniper is designed to catch heavy material in its barrel, allowing several pulls and pushes before it needs to be emptied. To empty, remove the cap and pour your heavy material directly into a bucket or other container. Construction of the nozzle allows this because it is extended into the barrel of the body. As you pump repeatedly, the heavier material flows into the cavity created by the inner nozzle extension, while lighter material flows up and out through the pipe, and back into the water. The cap is made to come off easily to facilitate pouring the gravels/sands into a collection bucket, instead of pumping sands into the pump and then emptying into a bucket after each pull. Easy to carry in backpack - a little less than 24" long. Works from the top of the surface or can be completely submerged.
